= Antaurus =

Antaurus is one of the six nations that formed [[The Antaurus Empire]].  The nation took its name from the house of Antaurus whose line went on to provide the majority of the Emperors after the rulers of the original [[Tholain]] Empire lost power.  When the Empire was first forged, Antaurus was not conquered as the other nations around it were, it sued for peace before the huge [[Tholain]] army arrived, and negotiated terms in which its rulers could participate in the new political arrangements.

The capital city of Antaurus is [[Mercunum]].
