Charles Derren
Until recently, Charles Derren was considered to be a mythical evil vampire who existed before the disaster. He has now moved from being fable to fact with the discovery of his tomb in the mountains far south of the city of Keal in Caldonacia. When his tomb was first discovered, the vampire was accidentally awoken, and he laid waste to the lands nearby which were inhabited by Caldonacian people. The destruction was severe; people moved out in their droves, and he was eventually sealed back in his coffin.
It is rumoured that his tomb has been opened once again, and that this time his body has been removed. Some believe this was done by the Kings Guard to discover his secrets; others think it is an evil magic user sect bent on causing the downfall of the people once again; still others believe he has been destroyed for good.
