## page was renamed from Corpus_Negrus = Corpus Negrus = Alignment: '''any lawful''' Necromancy is an unpleasant subject even among Wizards. There are those who abhor it, and many that shun it. There is a minority that specialise in it, and while they keep their art quiet, they provide quite an organised service to their friends. Magic user sects are already secret societies, and for those that practice necromancy, this is even more pronounced. The members of the Corpus Negrus are very coy about their affiliations. They keep out of daylight and study in secrecy, preferring to raise few ripples in wider society. They meet in utter secrecy, in locations known only to their members. And their studies, which require a continual stream of fresh meat, are all carried out in locked workshops, away from even the prying eyes of their colleagues in other magical circles. To be a member of this sect requires a deep commitment to the cause of Necromancy. Utter secrecy is a requirement, and oaths to protect the sanctity of the sect are undertaken by all members. As the induction process is so stringent, the sect charges lower fees than most of their peers. This, they find, helps attract the less mainstream wizards and sorcerers the sect needs to continue. Fees: 100gp/year, fellowship is available for 150gp/year from level 9. ---- CategoryOrganisations <
