Dominic Ewan is the right-hand man of [[Earl Reginald Browley]] of [[Nuneith]].  He is both chief adviser and administrator for the Earl's domain, and works closely with him.  When the Earl is out of town, Ewan shares the running of the county with [[Samuel Elineth]], the keeper of the purse for Nuneith.

Ewan was good friends with Browley, and they grew up and were educated together in the Earls city home in [[Eversham]], north [[Ticetia]].  His strong understanding of the Earl's approach, ideals and plans helps with this task.
