Edmond is chief of staff and security minister to [[King James]].  He is responsible for the smooth running of the Kings Guard, and all aspects of law and order across [[Arthea]].  He is based in [[Cellam]] but frequently visits other parts of the land.  In respect to his security duties, he reports directly to the King; he and his assitants and supervisors are outside of the normal Feudal system.
