Edward is the brother of [[King Siegfried]], and was appointed to this position by him.  [[King James]], his nephew, kept Edward in the post after his own succession, and he's proved his worth on many occasions.  He has a knack for seeing through excesses of information to sift out what really matters, and James has used this to the advantage of [[Arthea]] on many occasions.

Although he's a Ticetian, he has grown fond of his adopted [[Caldonacia]] over the years, and his willingness to stand up in the court of [[Cellam]] and defend his principality has made him popular with his people too.
