= The Kathron Delve =

The Kathron Delve is the oldest of the modern dwarf delves of [[Arthea]].  It pre-dates human settlements by some 200 years, and was founded shortly before the other three main delves of the post-disaster era.  The delve is well populated, and exists over many subterranean levels in the mountain range in the centre of northern Arthea.  It sits between the kingdoms of [[Ticetia]] and [[Caldonacia]].

Among its many claims to fame it is responsible for establishing the size and metal content of the coins used throughout Arthea.  This coinage standard, known as [[Kathron Coins]], was adopted by many of the fledgling human realms as they emerged after [[The Great Disaster]].  It enabled trade and helped the rapid growth of the kingdoms.
