The Royal Antaurus Hotel

This is a high-class hotel franchise that spans Antaurus. It's exclusive status comes from its sponsorship by the Prince of Antaurus, a patronage that they are extremely proud of. Each hotel in the chain maintains a suit of rooms for important visiting dignitaries, and are paid by the Prince himself to maintain this.

The hotels are geared up to provide high class food and accommodation, and for this they charge premium rates. But there are travellers in Antaurus that would stay nowhere else if there is a Royal Hotel in town. Prices in these establishments start at around 1 gold piece per night, but that fee includes a free horse grooming (but not stabling, that's an extra), and a light breakfast.

Many of the hotels also have a public-serving restaurant attached, alongside a quiet (so-called) common-room for guests only. The hotels are not geared up for traders carrying lots of marketable goods. The hotels have stables and usually a small locked shed suitable for carriages, but nothing that can cope with several waggons laden with stock.

Antoma

The Royal Antaurus Hotel in Antoma is run by Hugh Farlow, a Hebrian. He's been working with the hotel chain for twelve years and has successfully operated the Antoma hotel as manager for the last three. He epitomises the unflappable, calm manager the Hotel loves.
