Cornelius Golundreth
As a member of the Kings Guard, Cornelius Golundreth had a duty to the King. But Cornelius' duties seem to be outside those of the normal run-of-the-mill guard. He is not a uniformed officer, and does not seem to carry out regular duties. He also has duties that pull him all over the north of Ticetia; most of the Kings Guard are assigned to duties in one place.
Cornelius' path has crossed that of the player characters on a few occasions, the most significant was after the characters were granted the title of Esquire of Eversham, where he spent some time finding out what they had been up to. He took quite a professional interest in their activites; the thought of Vampires floating around the civilised towns and cities was quite frightening to the law keepers, and they really needed to know what was going on.
Cornelius' response to the information they gave was to encourage them to close the problem down; he was reluctant to get the main Kings Guard involved, as they would approach the problem with no finesse, and he feared their investigation could cause widespread fear among the people.
