8th Emperor of ["The Amastus Empire"], 1059-1060
Gravus Amastus was a strong-willed man, he tried to wrest control of the Empire back from the control of those with commercial interests. He failed in this attempt, and succumbed to a dose of poison which was used to assassinate him in 1060. He had no heir and his departure spelled the beginning of years of decline in which the Empire lurched politically as it tried to find a new leader.
