Valement's Academy of Transmutation

Warren Valement is now an old Wizard, but his magic user sect is still a new sect. Formed in 1381, when Warren was still a young magic user, the group is benefiting from an expansion of sect membership across the former Empire.

The sect was established in ["Antoma"] but has expanded into ["Gollotta"] during 1403, and again into ["Obsecum"] in 1411. The group is well run, and Valement, who is still in charge despite being 83 years old (in 1412), keeps it operating as a profit-making business. This business-like approach in magic user sects is quite a refreshing approach, and sets the sect apart from many small local sects in other parts of the lands.

The sect specialises in the Enchantment and Abjuration schools, and also supports the Evocation, Transmutation and Abjuration schools. Part of the popularity and growth of the sect has come through its membership prices. It has an introductory membership fee of 60gp per year for 1st to 3rd level sorcerers and wizards, this seems to attract many beginners. Above this, regular fees are 200gp per year.
