How Sixhomes was Separated from Caldonacia

The campaign starts in the year 1412, and takes place on the edge of civilisation. The lands where Sixhomes sits hasn't always been outside the kingdom of Caldonacia, until the war of Unification was fought, there were civilised towns and villages here.

The details of Caldonacias contraction aren't well known in the homesteads. But any of the locals can tell you how a horrific war took place in the 1330s that brought the Kingdoms together under one crown. A war which was over by 1340 when Ticetia's King fell. They may also be able to tell you that a new Caldonacian King was crowned in 1342. And he was the Emperor from the south.

The worst of this war, though, was the destruction handed out to Western Caldonacia. Here the fighting took place, and the people living here ran for cover to the east. When the war ended, few were left, and the buildings had been destroyed - stamped upon by an Imperial Army. Few of the people who had lived here before returned to take back their homes.

An uprising against the southern rulers was rumoured to have happened in the 1380s, but this time none of the fighting reached Sixhomes. The King, it is said, is now a Ticetian. But the locals here don't really care. They pay no taxes to this King, and do not rely on his protection.
