Character Biographies
The participants in this campaign are complex individuals with their own needs, drives and ambitions (and, in some cases, very big axes). These biographies are the descriptions of their lives in their own words.

Character Backgrounds
Following the first session in which the characters were created, their backgrounds have been established as follows (this is a reminder to the players). Please feel free to use and adapt this background to fit in with the finer detail of your character when you produce your biography page.
Remember, the Bio is worth 50xp to your character, and you can be as detailed as you like. Your history notes here are not set in stone, so feel free to update things if there is anything you need to change. Eventually I'll remove this section.
You can update your biography page whenever you like and as your character grows, and you can create a blog of your character's activities through the bottom of this page. You can also use the diary facility on www.immortalgeek.com, which is probably easier than putting it on this wiki.
Harold Smithson
Player: Paul B
Class: Fighter
Background:
- Family is Ticetian, but Harold grew up around Linnom. Did his family move to Cerlain when he was young, or was he born here?
- His Family's business is a smithy in the town. Father, Donald Smithson, spends at least one day a week in the stopover village (Ponte Allodola) helping the travellers who pass through, this is a task he shares with the other smiths in town - Harold will have been along on those journeys many times, but was never really interested in that work. His older brothers seem much more capable at this.
- The family is from Colishall in south Ticetia.
- They moved to Cerlain in response to a call for people to help provide important services as the population of the south expanded. They were provided with free transport and a small bounty on arrival to help set up their business.
Hacienda
Player: John
Class: Cleric
Background:
- Family have been Danethrae followers all Hacienda's life, he fell naturally into the church (perhaps he likes the singing?)
- Danethrae (like all the mainstream churches) doesn't really have a proper church building in the town, but it does share a small hall with Pendaroch, where meetings of the congregation are held
- Hacienda has been friends with senior cleric Otto Carrath for many years, he's an officious priest but has been a good tutor. Hacienda has a broad knowledge base, but he is now reaching the limits of what Otto can teach him.
- He's friends with Maria Estarro, a local lady who helps with church admin. There are a couple of other senior lay people in the church, but Otto and Maria are senior Danethrae representation in town. Maria is more of an administrator, however, and often demonstrates a lack of understanding of what the religion really means.
- Otto is always worried that they don't take enough cash in tithes
- Danethrae runs a local orphanage that houses sixteen local children whose parents have been killed in accidents of by disease. The orphanage is run by Julian Oti, a lay member of the church, but Hacienda does not know him well.
- We did not establish Hacienda's family ties, so...
- His family is based in Linnom, and are farmers and have a small vineyard and orchard on their land.
- The orchard is profitable, but the vineyard has struggled - it is expensive to run and as a result has been left with little attention for the previous four or five years.
- Because this land is set aside for the orchard and vineyard, the rest of the farm is quite small alongside those of his friends' families.
Tracy Firewand
Player: Paul S
Class: Wizard
Background:
- Part of a large farming family based east of Selbern
- Parents are Paulo and Anetta, they farm beef and lamb and arable crops, mostly barley and wheat
Two of his elder brothers and their wives are based near Saclos, having taken a grant to set up a new farm, these are Paetro & Francella, and Donoban & Marallena
- The new farm produces sheep and goats, and is building up to cabbages and wheat over the coming summer as it becomes established
- Also has cousins near Linnom, with whom he has been lodging, Marcello and Letina.
Ronaldo McDonaldo
Player: Al
Class: Paladin
Background:
- An orphan that grew up in the care of the Church of Danethrae
- His family were local farmers until their untimely and tragic death, about which no details have ever been told.
- As you Ronaldo grew older, he was allowed out of the confines of the orphanage to join the other youngsters of the town, although the ones he ended up being with (those of the party above, and a few of the others mentioned) were a little older than he.
- Sometime around his 12th birthday, he was given the chance to use a sword for the first time, and showed some natural talent with it. His devout upbringing and skill with weapons lead to him joining the ranks of the church's paladins.
- Since his 16th birthday he has spent several weeks in the care of Danethrae's paladins in Mellinara being tutored. He is well known by the trainer there, Nicolas Salinas.
