Corbetts School of Charmers

Alignments: any non-evil.

Victor Corbett established his School of Charmers in 1144. Corbett was a specialist in the Enchantment school, and passed both his knowledge and his sect on to his sons. The family owned sect continued that way until the 1250’s when, deep in the grips of plague, the school almost closed. The sect was sold to a small group of entrepreneurial wizards who saw the potential of the strong family name. As the population slowly recovered, the sect expanded from its original base in Foxford, south Ticetia. It now has twelve locations across Ticetia and in the north-western stretches of the Empire.

The sect still maintains its operation as a family-like business. As much as possible is done small-scale, and run in a friendly manner. They have a reasonably small membership too, compared to other sects with this many facilities. Membership prices reflect this, as they are slightly higher than many of their peers. The friendly atmosphere is appealing to many magic-users, but it does mean the output in terms of research is lower.

Membership costs are as follows: regular membership 175gp per year, associate membership (from 3rd level) 250gp per year, master membership (from 10th level) 300gp per year.

The sect specialises in the Enchantment and Divination schools, and also teaches the Evocation and Transmutation schools.
