Nareth
Nareth is the leading city in the Kingdom of Tholain which is in the east of the Former Empire. For many years it was the capital of the Empire, and many of the imperial institutions, such as The Imperial Library and The Imperial Academy of Magic, were based here. It is an impressive city, with plenty of classic architecture. The leading building is the Palace of the Senate, which was originally built by Emperor Dominus, the first emperor of the first Empire, which was formed when Tholain invaded and conquered the other nations of the south. This building was rebuilt when the Empire was re-formed, and is more impressive than the Imperial Palace, which is also in the city.
