The Kathron Delve

The Kathron Delve is the oldest of the modern dwarf delves of ["Arthea"]. It pre-dates human settlements by some 200 years, and was founded shortly before the other three main delves of the post-disaster era. The delve is well populated, and exists over many subterranean levels in the mountain range in the centre of northern Arthea. It sits between the kingdoms of ["Ticetia"] and ["Caldonacia"].

Among its many claims to fame it is responsible for establishing the size and metal content of the coins used throughout Arthea. This coinage standard, known as ["Kathron Coins"], was adopted by many of the fledgling human realms as they emerged after ["The Great Disaster"]. It enabled trade and helped the rapid growth of the kingdoms.
