The Kathron Delve

The Kathron Delve is the oldest of the modern dwarf delves of Arthea. It pre-dates human settlements by some 200 years, and was founded shortly before the other three main delves of the post-disaster era. The delve is well populated, and exists over many subterranean levels in the mountain range in the centre of northern Arthea. It sits between the kingdoms of Ticetia and Caldonacia.

Among its many claims to fame it is responsible for establishing the size and metal content of the coins used throughout Arthea. This coinage standard, known as Kathron Coins, was adopted by many of the fledgling human realms as they emerged after The Great Disaster. It enabled trade and helped the rapid growth of the kingdoms.
