The Ticetian Sect of Evocation
Alignments: any non-evil.
A reasonably young sect, formed around the time of the bugbear and orc invasion of North Ticetia in 1098. The intent was to be able to deal with large groups of these fell beasts from a distance, but saw little action in the fighting - the powers did not want such power deployed, it would have sparked panic among the peasants in the army at the time, and with the plague in full swing, there was plenty of potential for mis-aimed magic killing the population. Despite these problems, the sect remained together, and continued to expand their craft.
Today, the sect has spread over much of Ticetia. The main facilities are at Cellam and Callenhall, and they have a presence in half the towns and cities of the nation. They have expanded into Caldonacia too.
Membership costs are as follows: regular membership 100gp per year, associate membership (from 7th level) 200gp per year, master membership (from 12th level) 300gp per year.
The sect is centred on the neutral good alignment, and will accept members of any non-evil alignment. They specialise in Evocation, and also teach the Conjuration, Abjuration and Transmutation schools.
