Emperor Victus
1003 - 1059
7th Emperor of The Antaurus Empire, 1038-1059
A weaker emperor than his father, Emperor Marcus, Victus struggled with the growing power of the north during his reign. During his early years, the lands of the north discovered diamonds and other precious gems in their mountains. Victus was using political pressure against the people of the north to subjugate them, a continuation of the policy of his father, but the wealth these precious gems created in the north made that an increasingly difficult policy to pursue. His own traders disobeyed his own trade bans and went in search of the precious items.
The Emperor spent the years of his reign trying to remain in power and keep his domestic Empire intact.
