Jorlinum
Jorlinum is one of the six kingdoms of the former Empire. It sits to the north west of the southern realms, and provides the staging area for trade caravans which run to Ticetia. Its capital is Malberina.
The country is run by Prince Bergan Lepping. Before 1217 the lands were ruled by the house of Jorlinum. The von Lepping family was elevated after the heir to the house of Jorlinum was killed in fighting in Hebria in 1217, during the wars with Caldonacia.
The first von Lepping to rule Jorlinum was Gustav von Lepping, who had been Victor Jorlinum's right-hand man and political advisor. Victor Jorlinum was an old man in 1217, and his son, Ludovic Jorlinum was commander in chief of the Jorlinum forces until his untimely death. The von Lepping name became shortened during Gustav's own lifetime.
