Princes

Following Unification the role of King for the northern Kingdoms was converted to Prince, a situation that had existed for some time in the Empire. These roles were often appointed rather than inherited, usually as a reward - with the exception of the Prince of Antaurus, a hereditary role that enjoys special status.
